🆗 Focus on high-touch areas: Pay particular attention to areas like toilet handles, sink faucets, and showerheads, where germs tend to accumulate.

🆗 Clean before disinfecting: Remove any debris or dirt from bathroom surfaces before applying the disinfectant.

🆗 Allow the disinfectant to sit: Let the disinfectant sit on the surface for the recommended amount of time before rinsing or wiping clean.

🆗 Disinfect regularly: Aim to disinfect your bathrooms at least once a week, or more often if you have a large family or frequent guests.

ADDITIONAL TIPS FOR A HEALTHIER BATHROOM

Improve ventilation: Ensure good airflow in your bathroom by opening windows, using an exhaust fan, or installing a heat recovery ventilation system.

Fix leaks promptly: Address any leaks or water damage promptly to prevent the growth of mold and mildew.

Wash your hands: Encourage everyone in your household to wash their hands frequently, especially after using the bathroom.

Clean the bathroom trash can: Regularly clean and disinfect the bathroom trash can to prevent the spread of germs.

  1. Every time I pull into my garage, I realize I need to find the best pressure washing near me to refresh the exterior of my home before we list it for sale next month. Curb appeal is everything in this market, and the mold buildup on the north side of the siding is definitely going to be a red flag for potential buyers. I’m looking for a custodial group that offers "soft washing" for the more delicate surfaces so we don't end up with damaged paint or window seals. If anyone has hired a crew recently that was exceptionally thorough and professional, I’d love to hear your recommendations. It’s worth paying a little more for a service that you know you can trust with your biggest investment.

    1. Hi Susab,
Thank you for this thoughtful comment you’re absolutely right. Curb appeal can make or break a buyer’s first impression.
For mould buildup on siding (especially on the north-facing side), soft washing is the safest and most effective method. The process typically involves low-pressure application combined with specialized cleaning solutions such as:

1.Sodium hypochlorite based solutions ( This process has to be carried out by a professional to be able to ascertain the perfect measure for dilution. This process is highly effective for killing mould, mildew, and algae at the root rather than just removing surface stains.

2.Surfactant blends; These help the solution cling to vertical surfaces longer, ensuring deeper penetration and better breakdown of organic growth.

3.In some case as well if it is a chronic mould surface, I advise the client to engage the service of professional painter if the walls are concrete, the painter will scrape the mould part and screed it and repaint it after the screeding dried

At SO-KLINECAMP CLEANING SERVICES, we always stress that exterior cleaning before listing a property isn’t just cosmetic it’s preventive maintenance that protects your biggest investment.
For anyone preparing a home for sale.

Susab, wishing you success with your home sale next month! And to others here — have you ever seen how a professional soft wash completely transforms a property’s appearance? Share your experience below 👇
