MAINTAINING CLEANLINESS SHOULD NOT BE LIMITED TO OUR HOMES OR WORK PLACE


The desire to keep our homes and work place clean should also be same in our environment like our streets, roads, neighborhood and our world at large. How do you feel being in a cool and fresh atmosphere in your homes or office, then step out briefly to get something done outside to meet a dirty, smelly and polluted environment. True our system would never be comfortable in such environment especially as a person that cherish cleanliness so much.

The truth is apart from the fact that it is the road managers responsibility, we are also part of this responsibility to ensure our environment and world are always looking its best. When individually we do our part in ensuring our road, streets, neighborhood etc are clean, we make the work of the road managers easier and same time make our environment a more comfortable and healthy place to live in.


This we can achieve by abiding to these simple rules as;
  • Using the waste bin provided by the government on your roads 
  • In the absence of waste bins kindly keep the trash with you either put them in your bags, pockets or hold till you get to your destination or where you could conveniently trash them.
  • Encourage citizens to do same
  • As a company,  channel all your waste to the appropriate places and do not pollute our environment 
  • As a road manager, do your work dilligently even when you are not supervised 
  • pack and trash all your home wastes properly in that way they will not fly out to litter the streets
  • Educate your children and loved ones on how our roads and streets must be clean, and how to achieve that.

When our roads and streets are free from dirts and wastes, we are saving our world from
  1. Flooding which are caused by blocked drainages 
  2. Pollution and global warming 
  3. Protect ourselves and loved ones from harmful pests and diseases, and save the cost of regular visit to the hospital.
