A lot of people pick up any job available because they feel job are scarce and can't afford to stay idle doing nothing without a dime in their pocket. While some pick up a job because it pays money into their account and has less or no stress attached.

The reason why we should accept a job offer in the first place should be to contribute and make impact in the organization even if its not in line with our passion. There is no act of service rendered that is a waste if done well. As a cleaning staff, you may be managing the job and waiting for the right opportunity to be in your chosen career, but ensure not to lose focus on you job description and the purpose of being employed, always have the mindset that though as low as your position may be, the quality of your job somehow determines the progress of the organization.

A potential client will not want to do any business with an organization that cannot take care of its office environment because they will consider them to being unserious. Hence the purpose of having you as one of their staff is to ensure the office is always in good condition, and to also enable them concentrate in making profit for the organization.
