TIMING IS EVERYTHING: WHEN TO CLEAN YOUR OFFICE FOR MAXIMUM PRODUCTIVITY

A clean office is essential for productivity, employee morale, and overall success. But when is the perfect time to clean your office?

While it may seem like a minor consideration, the timing of your office cleaning can significantly impact its effectiveness.
Here Are Some Factors to Consider:

👌 Daily cleaning: Quick pick-ups throughout the day can help maintain a tidy office. Encourage employees to wipe down surfaces, throw away trash, and organize their workstations.
👌 Weekly deep cleaning: Schedule a deeper clean once a week to tackle tasks like vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing high-touch areas.
👌 End-of-day cleaning: Consider hiring a cleaning service to come in after hours to clean the office. This can help prevent disruptions and ensure a clean start to the next day.

Why Timing Matters:

👉 Minimize disruptions: Cleaning during business hours can be distracting and disrupt workflow. Consider cleaning during off-peak hours or after business hours.
👉 Maximize effectiveness: Cleaning when the office is empty allows for a more thorough clean, as there are fewer obstacles and distractions.
👉 Boost employee morale: A clean office can significantly boost employee morale and productivity. By cleaning at the right time, you can create a positive and healthy work environment.

Key Takeaway:
The perfect time to clean your office depends on your specific needs and schedule. By considering factors like daily cleaning, weekly deep cleaning, and end-of-day cleaning, you can create a cleaning schedule that maximizes productivity, minimizes disruptions, and boosts employee morale.

GENERAL HOME HYGIENE (How clean and safe is your home?) By SOKLINECAMP

Our home should be the most safest and comfortable place for us and our family, and the only way one can get that desired cleanliness is by putting in a deliberate effort, structure and routine in place. Luxury is not as the same as cleanliness, the fact that someone stay in places like Lekki, Ikoyi, Victoria Island, doesn't mean the person is clean, I have seen people live in average environment and their homes enjoy great hygiene than most of all the homes in the high rank environment.

The most sensitive parts of every homes is the Rest/bath rooms and kitchen where the food we eat is prepared. Not that our seating rooms or personal rooms are not also sensitive, but more attention need to be given to our toilet, bath room and kitchen as they have direct effect in our health if not properly maintained.

Germs / infection mostly start and spread from this sensitive places, cos of lack of deliberate maintenance and solid routine cleaning. At least our rest/bath rooms should be cleaned 3/4 times in a week, while our kitchen should be cleaned daily either in the morning or night after you are done with the activities of the day. This deliberate efforts will help you keep your home healthy and safe from the spreading of unnecessary germ infection, odours and unwanted visitors such as rodents, cockroaches and insects.
Always make sure you empty your kitchen waste bag every day, I repeat EVERYDAY.

We usually don't have that culture here where we have separates waste bin in our homes, and if you do have one, pls keep it up and make sure your left over from the cookings, after dish or meals,  are disposed immediately or later in the day and ensure your waste bin are properly covered to keep germs away from perching on them.

When washing your rest/bath rooms, ensure you use good fragrance and disinfectant to keep the room fresh and safe always. This consumables are not that expensive, but we rather placed our priorities on other things, but our health and safety should be a priority to us. With as low as 2k u can get good room fragrance and disinfectant to use in a month.

Most Get Consumables needed in your Rest/Bath Rooms

1. Good freshener( Good smell)
2. Harpic fluid (Disinfectant)
3. Hypo fluid(clean/kill germs)
4. Washing hand soap.( Safety)
5. Mopping sticks

For your Seating / Personal Rooms.

A lot of people find it difficult to tidy up the house except when they are expecting visitors which is not too good, and this is common in a busy environment where you hardly had time for house chores. This can be achievable if we work on creating a routine cleaning time table for ourselves and family.

Things To Do To Keep Our Personal Rooms and General Rooms Tidy

1. Sweep the floor daily.
2. Mop atleast twice or three times weekly depending on the activities in the home.( Pls take note to mop with hypo fluid)
3. Remove curb webs weekly.
4. Vacuum your couches weekly if you have the machine, but if not just improvised.
5. Clean up the foot mart in front of your door daily. If you don't have any pls try and get one.
6. Hang up a very good fragrance around the seating room for freshness.
7. Always create a ventilation for fresh air, and ensure your windows net are dust free for fresh air to come in. very important.
8. Keep your window blinds clean and simple.
