Cleanliness is both the abstract state of being clean and free from dirt , and the habit of achieving and maintaining that state. Cleanliness is often achieved through cleaning.
Importance of Keeping Our Environment Clean.
Environment is a place where humans as well as plants and animals live. It is necessary to keep our environment clean to enjoy our stay. An unclean environment makes it unsafe and unhealthy for its inhabitants, and invite diseases. By we doing our parts individually, will reduce or eliminate the major source of pollution and their disaster and make our world a better and safer place to live in.
Three Major Pollution that can be linked to Dirt and Lack of cleanliness are;
- Land pollution,
- Air Pollution, and
- Water pollution
It does not cost much to maintain cleaniliness in our environment and world, we can all join hands together and start with the little things we thought do not count such as
- Reduce the rate at which we drop stuffs, papers or food wraps on our streets. We can actually make use of provided trash cans on the roads or put them in our bags and pockets and trash them properly when we get to our destination. I know this may sound odd but its very important and achievable if we want a clean and safe environment.
- Ensure that wastes from our homes and offices are discharged properly. Wastes not discharged properly can block some channels and cause flooding during raining season
- Companies should also do their part to ensure our air is not contaminated with their production.
- They should also see that their productions are not affecting our environment which may also result in global warming
- Companies and we as individuals should see that discharges made into our waters are not dangerous to our water and their inhabitants.
